HTML5 and Future of Web from Brad Neuberg

Brad Neuberg of the Google buzz team discusses the future of web with HTML5 at an event in San Fransisco (May 11, 2010). The event was hosted by Microsoft and sponsored by Markana and Gamespot among others.

The event was jointly presented by The San Fransisco Java User Group (http://www.sfjava.org), The San Fransisco PHP User Group (http://www.sfphp.org) and The San Fransisco HTML5 User Group (http://www.sfhtml5.org).

Brad Neuberg explains why HTML5 matters – to consumers as well as developers! His overview of HTML5 included SVG/Canvas rendering, CSS transforms, app-cache, local databases, web workers, and much more. He also identified the scope and practical implications of the changes that are coming along with HTML5 support in modern browsers.
